Woman charged with bringing drugs into jail

ABERDEEN, Miss. (WTVA) -- The Monroe County Sheriff's Department, along with the North Miss. Narcotic's Unit and U.S. Marshal's Service, has made a meth-related arrest.

According to investigators, Rebecca Anna Cobb is charged with possession of meth.

Authorities say Wednesday, officers executed an arrest warrant for Cobb for bringing a controlled substance into a correction facility in Lowndes County.

When agents arrived at the home, they found several items that are used in the smoking of methamphetamine.

Agents also found several grams of methamphetamine in Cobb's possession.

She is currently on probation with the Miss. Department of Corrections for manufacturing meth.

Cobb is being held in the Monroe County Detention Center.

Bond has not been set.
