Traffic stop leads to drug arrest

ABERDEEN, Miss. (WTVA) -- Monroe County authorities say a traffic stop ended with the arrest of two people on drug charges.

Sheriff Cecil Cantrell says Travis Wayne Wells, 31, of Aberdeen and James Austin Holland, 26, of Nettleton are charged with possesion of a controlled substance.

The men were taken into custody following a traffic stop on Will Robbins Highway and Metts Road.

Both men are currently being held in the Monroe County jail.
