ABERDEEN, Miss. (WTVA) -- Monroe County authorities say they have made three arrests recently for drug charges in their county.
On Saturday, investigators say deputies conducting a safety checkpoint on Caledonia Road arrested Tyler Owen Ott, 20, of Hamilton.
Deputies apparently found crack cocaine and marijuana on his possession during the stop.
Authorities say they discovered Ott had more crack cocaine in his possession when he was being processed at the county jail.
Owen is charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance inside a correctional facility.
On Monday, deputies and the North Mississippi Narcotics Unit served a search warrant at a home on South Harmony Road in Monroe County.
Agents say they recovered marijuana, scales, two handguns, and cash during the search.
Authorities say they arrested Richard Steve Phillips, 57, of Amory and Vicky Mitchell, 55, of Aberdeen on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to sell.
Phillips is also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
