(WTVA) — Six candidates are expected to spend their final weekend campaigning before Tuesday's special election to fill an open state House seat in North Mississippi.

The seat in District 36 came open when Rep. David Gibbs passed away in January.

His district includes voters in Clay, Lowndes and Monroe counties.

If no one gets a majority of the vote after Tuesday's election, a runoff will be held April 2.
