Nettleton police charge man after incident

NETTLETON, Miss. (WTVA) - Nettleton police say they have arrested and charged a man in connection with an altercation between two neighbors.

Assistant Police Chief Lance Bowen stated in a news release that Frederick Walker, 40, of Nettleton has been charged with aggravated arrest extreme manifesting difference to human life.

Police say the other neighbor was badly hurt and was taken to North Mississippi Medical Center and listed in stable condition.

Authorities say Walker's bond has been set at $5,000.

Assistant Chief Bowen says the case will be turn over to the next grand jury in October.
