TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA)--Those who work in Emergency Medical Services in Monroe County were celebrated Tuesday in Amory.

Gilmore Memorial Regional Medical Center hosted its annual luncheon for EMS personal.

It’s all a part of National EMS Week and hospital officials say it’s their way of saying thank you.

"Something new that we have offered this year is asking our EMS personal to complete a survey. It's a survey for them to give us feedback here at Gilmore on things that we are doing well and things that we can improve on," said Lorie Bryant the director of marketing.

Luncheons will be held in Aberdeen and Fulton later this week.
