MONROE CO., Miss. (WTVA) -- Authorities in Monroe County have made an animal cruelty arrest.
According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Department, it happened on Tuesday, September 17 on Old 41.
Investigators say when officers responded, they noticed dogs in poor condition on the property.
The Amory Humane Society was called to remove the dogs.
Anthony McIntosh, 36, of Okolona was arrested and charged with five counts of cruelty to animals.
McIntosh has bonded out of the Monroe County Detention Center.
