Investigation into drug sales leads to arrest

ABERDEEN, Miss. (WTVA) -- An undercover investigation into the sale of narcotics in Monroe County has lead to the arrests of six people.

Officials say the operation has been underway for several months.

Those charged include:

Travis Devon Price, 28, of Amory - sale of marijuana
Callie Lee Laney, 34, of Amory - sale of hydrocodone
Amanda Lee Burks, 33, of Amory - three counts sale of a controlled substance (suboxone, xanax)
Erik Walker Burks, 30, of Amory - three counts sale of a controlled substance (suboxone, xanax)
Edward D. McMillan, 28, of Aberdeen - sale of marijuana
Brady Miles Thompson, 19, of Amory - sale of marijuana, sale of crack-cocaine

All six will make an appearance in Monroe County Justice Court on Monday.
