OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) --  Two civil lawsuits filed against Dwight Bowling, the Monroe County School District, and some administrators are officially over.

A federal court judge has signed an order saying the cases filed by two former students have been settled.

The lawsuits accused Bowling of engaging in illegal sexual activity while he was working at Smithville High School.

Bowling pleaded guilty to federal and state charges including fondling, sexual battery, child exploitation, bribery of a witness, tampering with a witness, and enticement of a minor for sex.

The judge ordered the details of the settlements to be kept confidential.
