ABERDEEN, Miss. (WTVA) -- Bond has not been set for a man from Aberdeen arrested during a traffic stop.
According to the Monroe County Sheriff Department, Descome Blanchard, 66, was taken into custody Sunday, January 13 and charged with driving under the influence.
Blanchard was taken to the Monroe County Detention Center, where he was searched.
The jailer says he found crack cocaine in Blanchard's shirt pocket.
In addition to the driving under the influence charge, Blanchard is also charged with possession of crack cocaine.
He is currently on probation with the Mississippi Department of Corrections for possession of crack cocaine.
