ABERDEEN, Miss. (WTVA) -- A convicted sex offender is back behind bars in Monroe County, facing new charges.
According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Department, Larry Thomas Lee, 51, of Amory, was staying somewhere other than the address he registered with the Mississippi Department of Public Safety.
The law requires that any sex offender who will be staying more than five days at another location has to register that address.
On Monday, March 22, deputies arrested Lee, who had been staying at a Monroe County motel since Monday, April 15.
Lee is currently being held at the Monroe County Detention Center.
Bond has not been set at this time.
