Child injured in Aberdeen being treated in Jackson

ABERDEEN, Miss. (WTVA) -- The Aberdeen Police Department is investigating an incident that left a child injured Monday morning.

According to WTVA's CJ LeMaster, who is in Aberdeen gathering information, the child has been airlifted from Pioneer Community Hospital in Aberdeen to Jackson for further treatment.

Authorities have not said anything about the child's injuries.

WTVA's CJ LeMaster has spoken with authorities who say the child is between one and three years old.
