WREN, Miss. (WTVA) -- The Mississippi State Department of Health says a boil water noticed has been issued until further notice for customers of the Wren Water Association.

Officials say coliform bacteria was found in a sampling of the drinking water.

The United States Environmental Protection Agency determined that the presence of total coliform is a public health concern.

The notice affects approximately 3,306 customers.

Customers are advised to boil water for one minute before it is consumed.
