Amory man charged with possession of stolen property

AMORY, Miss. (WTVA) -- An Amory man faces charges after an investigation into stolen property in the city.

Police Chief Ronnie Bowen says officers have charged Corey Anthony Epperson, 27, of 4th Street North with possession of stolen property.

He says investigators recovered power tools, air compressors and lawn equipment during the investigation.

Bond was set at $5,000 on the current charges.

Epperson remains in the Monroe County Detention Center on a hold from the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
