AMORY, Miss. (WTVA) -- Amory school officials are looking at an option to increase the millage rate in the district.

Superintendent Tony Cook tells WTVA.com the district's current rate is the lowest in the state at 27 mills.

He says any additional funding created by raising the mills would be used for operations in the district.

The board is scheduled to meet tonight at 5 p.m.
