STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) - An employee at a Starkville business acted quickly when they saw on a security camera a person entering the store with their face covered by a hoodie.

It happened last week at the Cash Till on Louisville Street.

Police say an employee was in the back of the business monitoring the security camera when they saw a suspect enter the building.

That person was reportedly seen wearing blue jeans, a blue plaid jacket, white tennis shoes, white gloves and his face covered with a hoodie.

Authorities say the employee set off the alarm and the suspect left the store and went into a wooded area behind the business.

If you have any information on this crime, you are asked to call the Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers at 1-800-530-7151.
