Public hearings to talk about natural gas rate cases

JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) -- Public Service Commissioner Brandon Presley has announced a series of public comment hearings regarding several natural gas rate cases being proposed by North Mississippi cities and town with the Public Service Commission.

The hearings will provide the public a chance to make comments about the proposed rates on the record. 

The schedule is as follows:

City of Pontotoc:      
Thursday, October 18th at 6 p.m.
Pontotoc County Chancery Building, Chancery Court, 34 South Liberty Street, Pontotoc.

City of Batesville:
Tuesday, October 30th, at 6 p.m.
Panola County Courthouse, Chancery Court, 151 Public Square, Batesville.

City of Booneville:
Tuesday, November 13th at 6 p.m.
Prentiss County Criminal Justice Center, 1901 East Chambers Drive, Booneville.

City of New Albany:
Tuesday, November 20th at 6 p.m.
Union County Courthouse, Circuit Court, 114 East Bankhead Street, New Albany.

City of Holly Springs:
Monday, November 26th at 6 p.m.
Marshall County Courthouse Annex, Courtroom B, 107 Market Street, Holly Springs.

Town of Walnut:
Tuesday, November 27th at 6 p.m.
Walnut Community Building, 31 Mitchell Avenue, Walnut.

City of Iuka:
Thursday, November 29th at 6 p.m.
Tishomingo County Courthouse, Chancery Court, 1008 Battleground Drive, Iuka.
