No students injured in school shooting in Georgia

DECATUR, Ga. (WTVA) -- According to the NBC affiliate, 11 Alive News, DeKalb County, Georgia Police have responded to a call of shots fired at the Ronald McNair Discovery Learning Academy on 2nd Avenue.

Skycam images show students running from the rear of building, and police with weapons drawn, facing the front of the building.

DeKalb School spokesperson Quinn Hudson says that a shooting suspect has been apprehended. Hudson says the suspect had demands.

Hudson says that all of the students have been accounted for. Once reports of the suspect came in, the students were taken out of the rear of the building into a field behind the school.

The school is an elementary charter school in the Candler-McAfee area of DeKalb County.
