COLUMBUS, Miss. (WTVA) - Columbus police tell WTVA.com that an active warrant has been issued for Curtis Hinton of Columbus.
Authorities say he is wanted in connection with the November 1997 murder of 70-year-old George Wilbanks.
Wilbanks was found dead in his home on Second Avenue North.
Police say the interior designer had been stabbed to death.
As we reported in February of this year, police arrested 44-year-old Earnest Talley of Columbus in this case.

He was already in jail on a burglary-related charge.
He was charged with murder in the death of Mr. Wilbanks.
