PEARL, Miss. (WTVA) -- Hot weather is moving into Mississippi, bringing triple-digit heat indices with it.
The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency says a heat advisory was issued Wednesday morning until 7 p.m. for much of the north part of the state.
Mississippians have been advised to stay indoors as much as possible and drink plenty of water to avoid heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
