WEST POINT, Miss. (WTVA) -- West Point police say they have arrested four people after a raid at an apartment complex last Friday.

Officers say they acted on a tip and conducted a sweep of the Town Creek Apartments on Friday afternoon.

That's where they found suspects that they had been searching for in recent weeks.

Authorities say they arrested Joshua Karriem, 29, and charged him with kidnapping, armed robbery and grand larceny in connection with crimes that happened on July 18.

His bond has been set at $100,000.

They say they also arrested Demetrius Parker, 27, of 312 West Half Mile Street, along with two juveniles in connection with a shooting on July 8th at the Town Creek Apartments.

Officials say one man was injured in the shooting.

Authorities say all three have been charged with aggravated assault and bond for all three has been set at $100,000 each.

West Point Police Chief Tim Brinkley says, "These arrests represent closure to five cases of violence that the department has been working leads on for several weeks."

Authorities say other arrests are pending in at least one of the crime cases.  If you have any information you are asked to call the West Point police department at 662-494-1244.
