COLUMBUS, Miss. (WTVA) - A former plant in the Golden Triangle appears to be getting new life.

Officials say a St. Louis company has bought the 700-thousand square foot warehouse that was owned by Omnova and will turn it into a multi-tenant industrial center.

The facility is located on Highway 69 South in Columbus.

According to a news release sent to WTVA.com,  the project is expected to be at least a $10M investment.

Phase one of the project is expected to be finished in the coming weeks.

Officials say once phase one is completed, the property will be ready for occupancy.

The company that bought the property is called Stuart B. Millner and Associates, an asset management company.
