WASHINGTON, D.C. (WTVA) - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission says a manufacturer has issued a voluntary recall of a children's trampoline.

It is called an Alex (r) Model 786X Little Jumpers Trampoline.

The government agency says about 8,000 of the trampolines are being recalled.

They were imported by Panline USA Inc., out of Northvale, N.J.

The USCPSC says there have been no reports of incidents nor injuries.

The company's concern is that the handlebar on the trampoline could break, causing a fall hazard.

The government says consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed.

A news release says consumers should contact the firm for instructions on receiving a replacement trampoline.

According to the CPSC, the company's website is www.alextoys.com/safety.

And, it is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product.
