Business leaders look to Europe

JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) -- The Mississippi Development Authority will lead a  business development mission to Germany and Poland in May.

The trip is designed to connect Mississippi companies looking to expand trade and create business relationships with opportunities in the two countries.

MDA European trade specialist Aggie Sikora says the nations are two markets have grown significantly for U. S. companies in recent years.

She says U. S. imports increased 250 percent in Poland from 2000 to 2010.

The trip is scheduled for May 20-24 and registration is currently open to business representatives across the state.Officials say space is limited and the deadline to register is March 29.
