COLUMBUS, Miss. (WTVA) -- A Fulton woman was arrested in Columbus on what authorities say was her third offense of shoplifting merchandise over $250.
Columbus police say 58-year-old Linda Franks was arrested at Walmart Tuesday after the store's lost prevention said Franks had walked out of the store with a buggy of items that were not purchased.
Officers say the merchandise taken was approximately worth $600 or more.
Franks was charged with felony shoplifting and received a bond of $2,500.
She is scheduled to appear in court on August 21, 2014.
