Two men sentenced in federal drug case

OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) -- A federal judge has ordered two men to federal prison on drug charges.

Avis Robinson, 30, of West Point pleaded guilty to one count of sale of a mixture containing cocaine in April.

On Thursday, he was sentenced to 30 months in prison and ordered to serve three years probation.

Gaston White, 27, also pleaded guilty to selling a mixture containing cocaine.

He was sentenced to serve 77 months in prison and serve three years probation.

The arrests were part of an investigation into drug sales between September and November of 2011.
