COLUMBUS, Miss. (WTVA) — Three people are under arrest in connection with a home invasion in New Hope Tuesday.
The Lowndes County Sheriff's Department has charged 18-year-old Javontay Carr of Columbus, 18-year-old Rance Maddox of Columbus and a 15-year-old from Columbus with armed robbery.
Sheriff's Investigator Eli Perrigan says robbers forced their way into a home on Golding Road Tuesday night around 10 p.m while a husband and wife were there.
According to Perrigan, the husband was ordered at gunpoint to open a safe.
The robbers left with guns and cash.
Perrigan adds there may be a fourth arrest in the case.
