Teenager charged after wrecking car into home

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WTVA) -- The investigation into a car crashing into a Columbus home lead to the arrest of a teenager.

Authorities say the accident happened around 2:20 a.m. on College Street in the city.

Police say the driver of the car ran from the scene, but was apprehended a short time later.

Deondra Deshawn Tillman, 17, of Columbus is charged with DUI, felony taking of a motor vehicle, and no insurance.

He is charged as an adult in the case.

No bond has been set at this time, but officials say he is free on bond on other charges.
