COLUMBUS, Miss. (WTVA) -- A Columbus man is facing drug charges after agents found marijuana and a gun during the search of a home Monday night.
The Columbus-Lowndes Metro Narcotics Unit reports Corey Sanders, 24, was taken into custody at a residence on 21st Avenue North.
He was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
Authorities say the found four ounces of marijuana, a pistol, scales, and cash.
Agents also seized a 2005 BMW SUV.
Authorities say Sanders was currently out on a circuit court bond from an arrest in May of this year on similar charges.
He remains in the Lowndes County Adult Detention Center awaiting an initial appearance.
