LOWNDES CO., Miss. (WTVA) -- A man from Columbus is facing charges following an investigation by the Attorney General's Office Task Force on Cyber Crimes.
According to Lowndes County Sheriff's Department Investigator Tony Cooper, the investigation of Tyler Reid Lofton, 30, began in December.
Authorities found several images of children on his computer.
Lofton is charged with one count of exploitation of a minor.
Investigator Cooper says the task force thanks the Tupelo Police Department for help during the investigation.
No bond for Lofton has been set at this time.
