COLUMBUS, Miss (WTVA) -- A Columbus man faces drug charges after narcotics agents say they found marijuana and K2 spice in a search of his apartment.

The Lowndes County Sheriff's Department Narcotic Unit reports Charles Christopher Moody, Jr., 20, was arrested when agents served a search warrant on 13th Street North.

Agents say they found over one ounce of K2 spice and marijuana and an undisclosed amount of currency during the search.

Moody was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

He is currently being held in the Lowndes County jail.

Authorities say the arrest is part of an ongoing investigation into the sale of spice in Lowndes County.
