COLUMBUS, Miss. (WTVA) -- The Columbus-Lowndes Development Link has a new name to better reflect its new mission.
This week. the governing board voted to change to the name to the Golden Triangle Development LINK and Columbus/Lowndes County Chamber of Commerce.
Officials in Clay and Oktibbeha County merged their economic development agencies with the LINK.
On Friday, the LINK announced its Executive Committee and Board of Directors for 2012 - 2013.
The newly elected members of the LINK Board of Directors are:
Michael Waters - Waters Truck & Tractor
Lex Jackson - Reed's of Columbus
Chris Morrow - Pryor and Morrow-Architects and Engineers, P.A.
Mark Abernathy- Cadence Bank Starkville
Michelle Amos - Coldwell Banker Starkville
Steve Langston - Sullivan's Office Supply
Zelma Talley - Retired Business Owner
