COLUMBUS, Miss. (WTVA) — After a one year hiatus, a longtime popular event has returned to Columbus.
The Ghosts and Legends Tour will take place starting Friday for the next two nights in the Friendly City.
What's described as a good learning experience for people of all ages features a dozen locations where you can look for ghosts while being greeted by specters from the past.
The production also educates people about what happened in Columbus that doesn't happen every day in other cities.
"It will be somewhat mysterious and have a little bit of spookiness to it," adds Beverly Norris, program manager for the Columbus Arts Council. "It's a lot about the history of Columbus and the people that lived here."
All tours begin at the Tennessee Williams Home and Welcome Center.
Starting times for the tours are as follows: 6 p.m., 6:30 p.m., 7 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.
