GRAND PRAIRIE, Tex. (WTVA) -- American Eurocopter has landed a contract to build emergency air medical transports for one of the nation's largest medical transport companies.
The helicopter maker has agreed to an $80 million contact to build 22 aircraft for Air Methods Corporation of Colorado.
Officials say over 330 American Eurocopter helicopters are in use by Air Methods.
Part of the order will be built in the Columbus manufacturing facility.
Delivery is scheduled to be made by 2015.
