COLUMBUS, Miss. (WTVA) -- Columbus will soon be rolling out a new welcome mat.
The Newcomer Committee at the Columbus-Lowndes Development LINK is to launch a program that will offer newcomers a way to make their move to town a smoother one.
They have put together a list of resources on a newcomers welcome disc.
It provides online links to every resource that could possibly help with the transition to life in Columbus including car registration information, real estate links, recreation and schools.
"Oh! They are fantastic. We make sure we find resources for ever facet of life that you could possibly need from leash laws for your pets to where you get your car tag registered. We cover all the bases," LINK spokesperson Maucauley Whitaker said.
