BROOKSVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) -- A repeat offender is back behind bars.
Brooksville Police Chief Reginald Adams says 47-year-old Claude Walter Taylor of Henley Drive is being charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Chief Adams says they conducted a surveillance operation during which drug sales took place.
A search of the property yielded a small amount of crack cocaine and a large amount of cash.
Chief Adams says he will not tolerate drug activity in Brooksville.
More arrests are expected.
