TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) -- Four days after Tupelo Police officers responded to a call of shots fired at a hotel, an arrest is made in the case.
Tupelo investigators say on Saturday, when they arrived at the hotel, officers found two men who had been robbed.
Officers say they found evidence that at least one shot had been fired in the bathroom of the hotel room.
Thursday, authorities charged Kayla Guerrero, 24, of Tupelo, with armed robbery.
She is being held on $75,000 bond.
Detective Brandon Garrett says they have not determined how Guerrero may have known the two victims.
Authorities say they are looking for a second person in connection with the holdup.
