TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - The storm system passing through north Mississippi early Wednesday morning left downed trees, rain and a few damaged Tupelo businesses.
The Furniture Center and a few neighboring stores had their buildings damaged early Wednesday morning.
The Furniture Center, which is on McCullough Boulevard, had its entire front blown off by strong winds from the storm system that passed through the area.
Reports of fallen trees and downed power lines came in from numerous locations across the viewing area, as the storm made its way into north Mississippi.
