Trucks vandalized and parts stolen

TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - Tupelo police are trying to crack a case that involves a crime spree at a local truck company.

Police say that one two different days, May 8, 2013 and May 13, 2013, someone vandalized a total of 19 trucks and stole parts valued at $114,000.

They say the parts are called a diesel particulate filter and cost $6,000 each.

Authorities say the parts were apparently cut out with a battery powered yellow blade saw.
