TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) -- Teen pregancy is a subject on the table in Tupelo.
Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant recently promised to send resources back into communities across the state and that comes in the form of experts on this and other subjects.
People from all walks of line gathered for guidance at the Family Resource Center in Tupelo on Monday.
Everyone from nurses, teachers, elderly and teenage mothers are being sought for community health advocate training.
What they learn they will share on a grassroots level in their communities.
"They believe in the mission and ensuring that their own children live a great, quality life," Governor's Office State Coordinator Nycole Campbell Lewis said.
The information shared also includes lessons on good nutrition.
