LEE COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) -- A road in northern Lee County will close to make way for the repair of a bridge.
Lee County Board of Supervisors President Phil Morgan says the bridge is located between County Road 941 and County Road 1275.
The bridge is being stabilized.
Morgan says stabilization is necessary to combat a problem with erosion.
The bridge is being lengthened at least 20 feet on the east side.
The bridge will close Friday, November 16 and will remain closed for at least 80 working days.
Morgan says there will be no detour.
