TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) -- Tupelo police are investigating an altercation in the parking lot of the Walmart on West Main Street.
Police were called to the scene around 1:30 p.m.
Police Chief Tony Carleton tells WTVA.com one person was taken to the hospital after they were cut.
He says the altercation apparently was the continuation of an incident at a party Thursday night.
Carleton says the people involved know each other.
Police are currently questioning four or five people about the altercation.
