TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) -- A Tupelo man faces charges after he assaulted a woman inside her home, then set fire to personal items and her car before leaving.
Investigators have charged William Trimble, 27, with felony domestic assault, arson, and burglary of a dwelling.
Authorities say Trimble broke into a home on Sunday and assaulted the woman.
They say he then set fire to items in the home and an automobile before leaving.
Trimble was located a short-time later and arrested.
The woman was treated at the North Mississippi Medical Center and released.
