TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) -- A Tupelo man wanted in connection with with the armed robbery of a woman at her home has been captured.
Authorities say Ryan McClendon, 22, was arrested Sunday by Tupelo police.
He was wanted for the November 20, 2011 robbery of the woman at a home on West Jackson Street.
Investigators say the woman was walking into her home when McClendon approached her and asked for her purse.
He then is accused of pulling a handgun, pointing it in her face, grabbing the purse and running away.
McClendon will make an initial appearance Monday afternoon in Lee County Justice Court.
