TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) -- They appear to be the most sought after tickets for the annual Elvis Festival.

Die-hard fans lined up outside the Downtown Tupelo Main Street Association building to be the first to purchase Elvis Festival tickets for events at the Lyric theater.

How much you pay depends on how many events you want to attend.

Performances include tribute artists who hope stand out from the competition.

There will be four days of events that will be held June 6-9.

"Always come down here every year about a quarter until five, and get tickets to see Elvis. We've done it three, four, five years. We been in it since 1999," Tupelo Elvis fan Dot Lyons said.

"If I didn't get here and get tickets to see Elvis, my wife would kill me. She is an Elvis fan," Plantersville Elvis fan Joe Loden said.

Tickets range from $15 for one event to $175.

Organizers say what people really enjoy is being able to pick their seat in advance for the best view of the stage.
