NETTLETON, Miss. (WTVA) -- Work on a drainage project in the city of Nettleton will lead to a boil water notice for residents on three city streets.
Public works officials say the boil water notice will go into effect Wednesday afternoon for residents on Finney Street, Bethay Street, and some homes on Maple Street.
The addresses on Maple Street affected run from 1475 through 1541.
City leaders say they will cut water service in the area Wednesday from 1 p.m. til 4 p.m.
They say crews working on a drainage project in the city are moving the water line to those areas as part of the work.
Once water service is restored, the boil water notice will remain in affect until further notice.
