TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) -- One person was killed and two injured in a Tupelo wreck Thursday around noon.
Police say witnesses reported seeing a small pickup passing a full-size pickup on a double yellow line while driving on North Eason Boulevard.
Police say it appears the small pickup clipped the other vehicle and spun off the opposite side of the roadway before going through a fence and hitting two parked cars.
All three passengers in the small pickup, including a pregnant woman, were taken to the North Mississippi Medical Center for further observation.
Police say one of those passengers has died, but no names are being released at this time.
The person driving the full-size pickup was not injured in the wreck.
The accident remains under investigation.
