MONGOMERY, Ala. (WTVA) -- The Appalachian Regional Commission is providing funding to help areas of north and central Alabama affected by tornadoes in 2011.

Your Town Alabama is a non-profit organization established to help small towns grow.

The ARC grant for $18,150 will allow the group to hold four webinars geared to help rebuild communities damage in the April 27, 2011 tornado outbreak.

The topics will include disaster recovery, tourism, downtown revitalization, and federal tax credit for building rehabilitation.

Communities not affected by the storms can also participate in the webinars.
