Two women arrested on shoplifting charges

OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) -- Oxford police have arrested two women following reports of shoplifting at two businesses.

Investigators say they arrested Latoya Waters, 26, of Oxford on Friday for felony shoplifting at Walmart.

Waters bond was set at $3,000.

Authorities say Melissa Nicole Goliday, 23, of Oxford was arrested Monday after officers were called to a shoplifting incident at Family Dollar Store.

Goliday attempted to flee from officers before being taken into custody.

She is charged with shoplifting and felony fleeing following a shoplifting.

Goliday's bond was set $2,500.
