OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) -- The Oxford Police Department is working with the University to minimize traffic congestion on Jackson Avenue for the game this weekend.

Traffic coming from the Gertrude Ford Blvd., Sorority Row, and Rebel Drive will be routed East on Jackson Ave. to Molly Barr Road then to Highway 7.

Those parked in the University’s lot on McElroy will also be directed East to Molly Barr and follow the traffic to Highway 7.

Traffic heading away from campus on Hathorn Road will be right turn only onto Jackson Ave. going East.

Any drivers on Anderson coming toward Jackson Ave. will be required to turn right and continue West on Jackson.

Please be patient with the new traffic plans.

Routes will continue until traffic is freely flowing.
